I'd been on the hunt to find a vintage windbreaker that I love for ages, and God blessed be with the opportunity to buy this one from Vintage Store in Brick Lane. I advise you take a trip there (if you like vintage shopping) the guys in there were so cool, loooollll. I bought this for just £17, somebody scream bargaiinnnnnn with me.  It doesn't even feel vintage at all when I wear it, it's in such good condition and I lavvvvv it, also the fact that it's Adidas makes me happy inside. Adidas is life.

On another note, you may notice that this is completely different to the outfit in my last post, this is because I wear what I like, I don't have any sort of generic style. One day you'll see me in a bomber jacket and cap, the next you may see me in tailored trousers and a turtle neck. Although people say they like my style, I still wonder what that is. I know exactly what I like but it comes from all different types of styles, therefore I've accepted that my style cannot be categorised, however I think there will come a point in time where I'm able to discover precisely what it is.

UNDERSTATED GREYS

Is Grey Taking Over?
Sure Black and White reign supreme when it comes to colours but grey has stepped into the limelight. Grey elevates in ways that other, brighter colours can't, especially when paired with black. It's 'understated' subtle, but powerful. My love for autumn greys is growing stronger, and my wardrobe will soon be full of grey. So, here I give you some pieces that have made me die a little inside, especially the MANGO pieces, all they do is slay.

TOPSHOP Flannel 'Mensy' Trousers, £42

MANGO Bouclé-Knit Wool-Blend Sweater, £35

MISSGUIDED Knit Co-ord , £30

& Other Stories Leather Bag, £135

MANGO Premium Boxy Wool- Blend Blouse, £35

A-S DÅVIK Wool Hat, £34

DRESS TO EMPRESS

Dress to empress; the makings of a true Goddess.
A woman with great power and influence. Are we dressing to impress or empress? The difference between the two is more than just a letter.

Are we using our 'great power' to influence style or imitating and regurgitating styles already recognisable for social acceptance. Your true aim may be to be unique and distinct but in struggling and striving to achieve that, the sole purpose is lost and wasted on the norms of a confused society. I too am a victim captivated by the world around me, but I know I have the power to change that.
After all 'the impediment to action advances action. What stands in the way becomes the way' -Marcus Aurelius. The only thing stopping you, is you.

Protect the opening of your mind, what you think is what you perceive, and what you perceive is what you become. Use your mind in a positive manner, don't let the boundaries cloud your judgement and chances to succeed.
Fashion is very much about storytelling, marking the changing seasons of any person's life and styling them through it.
Whether we like it or not what we wear is more than just clothes. We 'put on' and clothe ourselves to portray a different persona each day through what we wear.
What story are you trying to tell? Who or what does it involve? What does it say to others? These, amongst many other questions is what you should think about before you step outside. If you don't know the answer - find out.

This may not apply to everybody, some of you may wonder what I'm babbling on about but the truth is I myself don't understand why I felt obliged to write this, at 12am, staring at the screen of my phone, but hopefully somebody understands and appreciates my words.
